Prior to becoming a writer, Diane spent fourteen years in business and finance. During
that time, she carried out many senior roles and became a Graduate Member of the
Institute of Credit Management (MICM grad).
A requirement for one of these roles, was to adapt a new computer system to encompass
an accounts query management facility. Diane played an integral part in developing
this facility and writing the user manual to instruct staff on how to use the new
system.
Diane gained much experience of report writing during her time spent in Credit Management,
as many of the roles required her to produce monthly management reports regarding
overdue accounts and bad debts. She can also help you with business letters and business
plans.
After a career break to raise a family, Diane decided to develop her writing talents,
and enrolled with the Writer’s Bureau in Manchester, where she gained a writing diploma.
